For information about organisation of Academia see the Organisational Map. This section explains the specific functions performed by the Academia officials: Consilium Academiae Thules The Consilium is the board of directors, the governing body of the Academia. It sets the general policies of the Academia and has the final decision on everything. Current consiliarii (members of the board) are: Chairman Christer Edling Vice-chairman Rodrigo Álvarez Secretary Mikko Sillanpää Treasurer Emilia Finnlund Member Simone Lattes Member: Jonas Nilsson Triumviratus Academiae The Triumviratus is the central executive committee, which runs the daily administration of the Academia and prepares the meetings of the board of directors. Current tresviri (members of the triumviratus) are: Mikko Sillanpää, Christer Edling and Rodrigo Álvarez. Rector Academiae Thules The Rector (director) of the Academia Thules handles the day-to-day management of the Academia, following the yearly plan and the general guidelines issued by the the triumviratus and the consilium. The current Rector is Mikko Sillanpää. Decanus Facultatis The Decani are the deans or heads of the faculties in the Academia. Current Decani are:   Mikko Sillanpää Facultas Archaeologiae Facultas Philosophiae Facultas Historiae Christer Edling Facultas Litterarum John Reali Facultas Theologiae   Praeceptor / Praeceptrix The praeceptores and praeceptrices are the teachers of the courses in the Academia. Scriba A Scriba is an administrative member of the Academia staff that works in a non-academic position. A Scriba can work on his own or be assigned to a Procuratio or faculty.
